From the team who brought you 'Young Frankenstein' in 2023, Pantheon is proud to present 'Pippin'; the story of a young man seeking to lead an extraordinary life! With a score from musical theatre giant Stephen Schwartz ('Godspell', 'Pocahontas', 'Wicked' and 'Enchanted') and original choreography by the legendary Bob Fosse ('Chicago', 'Cabaret'), we invite you to join us on this captivating and hilarious foray into Pippin’s world of temptation and intrigue.
'Pippin' was the winner of four Tony Awards in 2013, including Best Musical Revival. This updated, circus-inspired version of 'Pippin' continues to attract and appeal to the young at heart throughout the world.
Heir to the throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfilment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great). In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavours, but in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day.
